It's okay to show vulnerability. That's not weakness. That's leadership.

While most executives wear leadership like a costume, something they put on at the office door and take off at home, Fred Landtmeters has built an entire philosophy around refusing to do that. Born a Francophone child in a Flemish-speaking Belgium, he learned before the age of ten that the only way to earn your place is to show up, fully, as exactly who you are.

He is best known for doing the uncomfortable thing: walking into broken businesses and refusing to flinch. When Molson Coors handed him the keys to their Canadian operation, a crown jewel that had lost its shine, Fred didn't just stabilize it. He rebuilt the portfolio from the ground up, returned the core brands to the top of the volume charts, and drove the flavour business into high double-digit growth. He is not a caretaker. He is a restorer.

Now serving as CEO of EMPWR Nutrition Group, Fred is bringing that same blue-chip precision and human-first philosophy to a new category, proving that the most dangerous executive in any room is the one who has already survived the hardest version of the problem.

DEFINING MOMENTS

1990s

The Outsider

P&G, Belgium. The Lesson: "When you don't speak the language, you learn to read the room. That skill never leaves you."

2005

The Spark

CMO, Central European Breweries, Prague. The Lesson: "P&G taught me the science. Five countries taught me the art. You can't copy-paste a campaign across borders; you have to earn each market."

2012

The Room

Molson Coors, Denver. The Lesson: "You have to know your answer before the room goes quiet. Most people don't get what they want because they haven't decided what that is yet."

2017

The Turnaround

CEO, Molson Coors Canada. The Lesson: "A turnaround isn't a strategy. It's a decision about what you're willing to fight for."

"You led the Canadian team to reach high levels of pride and performance. You're leaving Molson Coors Canada ready for the new era and more motivated than I've seen in years."
