Lindsay St Jean

Lindsay St Jean

Lindsay St Jean is a commercial leader and culture builder who has spent her career driving growth for some of the world’s most iconic beverage and sports brands. As the Vice President of Sales for the Pinnacle Division at Breakthru Beverage Canada, Lindsay led the creation of a new, highly specialized sales division from the ground up, designed specifically to elevate the execution and market share of the Brown-Forman portfolio across the country.

Her career in high-stakes sales began at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), where she was the Group Sales Manager for Toronto FC during their wild, sold-out launch year. From there, she transitioned into the beverage industry, moving strategically through leadership roles at Diageo, Molson Coors, Labatt Breweries (AB InBev), and Corby Spirit and Wine (Pernod Ricard). Having navigated four of the largest global beverage organizations in Canada, Lindsay built a reputation for her deep channel expertise, her resilience through complex crises - including Covid, US tariff disputes, liquor board strikes and supply chain shortages - and her ability to build deep, authentic trust with her teams.

Beyond her commercial success, Lindsay is a passionate advocate for women in the industry, actively mentoring the next generation of leaders. She led the first Women's Associate Resource Group at Breakthru Beverage, building a community of over 300 members to foster mentorship and support. In 2024, her commitment to a "people-first" leadership style was recognized internally across 10,000 associates when she was awarded the Ray Herrmann Award for her outstanding leadership values.

DEFINING MOMENTS

Image
2007

The Toronto FC Launch

Led group sales during Toronto FC's inaugural season, navigating the chaotic frenzy when David Beckham and the LA Galaxy came to town and pulling all-nighters to manage unprecedented demand. Lessons Learned: When you're thrown into the deep end, embrace the chaos. The moments that feel impossible are where your operating instincts get forged for the rest of your career.

2008

Entering the Beverage Industry

Transitioned from MLSE to join Diageo as a Territory Manager, returning to her hometown and launching her executive ascent in the beverage space. Lessons Learned: Strategic lateral moves into industries you are deeply passionate about will always pay off in the long run.

2012

Transitioning Giants

Led the transition of the Modelo Import portfolio, including Corona, from Molson Coors to Labatt Breweries. Lessons Learned: Pattern recognition is the real prize of working inside category leaders. You stop reacting to problems and start seeing them coming.

2014

A New Voice in On-Premise

Stepped into the Director of On-Premise role at Corby Spirit and Wine, becoming one of the first female leaders to navigate and manage relationships in a highly tenured, male-dominated space. Lessons Learned: Listen intently, observe, and offer your voice when you have something meaningful to say. Authenticity is what builds executive confidence.

2021

Coming Full Circle at Breakthru Beverage

Reunited with her original mentors to become Regional VP for Ontario. Her leadership drove the team to win "Region of the Year" at the Diageo Golden Bar Awards. Lessons Learned: Never shut the door on an opportunity before you try it. Others often see your potential before you do.
