YOUR SHOOT DAY GUIDE
Everything you need to know before arriving at our studio. Read this once and arrive with confidence.
ARRIVAL AND WELCOME
When you arrive, come to Unit 5 at the back of the building. Our team will greet you, give you a quick tour, and get you settled in. Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to get comfortable before we start rolling.
THE SHOOT
We keep things relaxed and conversational. Expect a sit-down interview-style format. Shoots typically run 1.5 to 2 hours. We will guide you through questions and prompts. No script, no teleprompter. We want the real you on camera.
DURATION
Shoots run 1.5 to 2 hours. We will confirm your exact slot in advance. We build in buffer time so you never feel rushed. The best content happens when we are not watching the clock.
WHAT TO BRING
2–3 outfit options
We can do outfit changes. Bring a few looks so we can choose what reads best on camera.
Any props or branded items
Books, awards, products — anything that tells your story visually is welcome.
Water & snacks
We'll have drinks on site, but feel free to bring your favourites. Stay hydrated — it helps your voice and energy on camera.
WHAT TO WEAR
✓ Solid colours & textures
Jewel tones, navy, burgundy, forest green — these look great on camera. Textures like linen or wool add depth.
✗ Avoid loud patterns
Fine stripes, tiny checks, and busy prints can cause a moiré effect on camera. Stick to simple patterns or solids.
✗ Avoid all-white or all-black
Pure white can blow out on camera. All black can flatten the image. Mid-tones and colour always photograph better.

PARKING
Use spots P8 or P9 in the lot directly in front of the studio. Pull in off Jutland Road; Unit 5 is at the back of the complex. Parking is free.
