The Shoot
The format is a relaxed, conversational, sit-down interview. There is no script and no teleprompter because we want the "real you" on camera.
Case Studies
Although we don’t want you to over-prepare, we always like to talk about a couple of past successes. For those, it’s always best to have some concrete results ready. A sample question here could be: "Tell us about an accomplishment you are most proud of."
DURATION
Shoots typically run 1.5 to 2 hours. We have built in some buffer time so that you don’t feel rushed, ensuring we have plenty of time to get things done in a way you are completely happy with.
PARKING
What to Expect Our goal at VettedCV is to capture the real, unscripted you. It is a relaxed hour long chat where we get to know you and in the end pull the best five minutes for the video. There are no teleprompters, no PR talking points, and no "gotcha" questions. This is simply a relaxed conversation about how you built your career, how you lead, and what you’ve learned along the way.
We explicitly ask that you do not over prepare. The best moments happen when you are simply reacting and telling stories in the moment.
To give you a sense of where the conversation will flow, here are the five core themes we will explore during our time in the chair:
01. The Origin Story We always like to rewind the clock before we talk about the present. We’ll touch on where you grew up, what you were like as a kid, and the early traits that hinted at the leader you would eventually become.
02. The Climb & The Grind We want to hear about your journey. We will explore your early career, the pivotal chapters that shaped your reputation, and the hard won accomplishments you are most proud of.
03. The "MasterClass" Moment Our audience is filled with ambitious professionals looking for mentorship. We will ask you to share an industry insider secret, a defining teachable moment, or the hidden mechanics behind a major success. Think of this as opening your personal playbook. We want to extract actionable advice you would give to someone looking to level up their own career.
04. The Leadership Playbook This is where we talk directly to the top-tier talent who might want to work for you. We’ll dive into your personal management style, the operational reality of your current company culture, and the specific "DNA" you look for when hiring winning teams.
05. The Legacy Finally, we will look at the big picture. When it is all said and done, we want to know what kind of impact you hope to leave on your industry, your team, and your own reputation.
The Bottom Line: You already know the answers to all of these because you’ve lived them. Just come ready to have a great conversation, and our production team will take care of the rest.
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear what you feel great in. You are welcome to bring a second outfit. We will take a couple of premium headshots as well, so if you’d like one in a different outfit, please bring it along.

Please avoid loud patterns, fine stripes, tiny checks, busy prints, or prominent logos.

You are welcome to use free parking spots P8 or P9 in the lot directly in front of the studio. To find it, pull in off Jutland Road and head to the back left of the complex. You will see "Moment" on the canopy.
